John drilling away, temporarily without the protection of the little "shit house" or wooden hearing protection shed, as I was installing a new oil pressure gauge


Back to drilling with the new head and Joey sorting out the core


Finally we got it out of the mine and onto our rental pickup (the guys from the rental company better not see this). We spent until 10 in the evening swapping parts with another head on the parking lot of our hotel, as the boss wanted us drilling again at 07:00 in the morning


That meant taking the 200kg head off and lifting it onto our truck... we did not want to break our backs so we tried to find ways to make the work lighter, like "come-alonging" (hand lifting device) it up the truck


This week a lot of thing broke. The drill head was one of these: the hydraulic oil is not supposed to run out like this....
